Pectel has been a major provider of asbestos removal and hazardous waste services for over 25 years. Through this time and, due to ever increasing regulations enforced by the HSE (Health and Safety Executive), we have found that our internal and external personnel can benefit from practice-based training.

  

Keltbray Training is a bespoke development for both internal and external use. We specialise in asbestos removal training, asbestos awareness, Network Rail approved training and demolition training.  Keltbray Training has a dedicated team of professional trainers and assessors who have received various accolades over the years for their professional approach and delivery.

 

The training centre in Basildon, Essex consists of a spacious classroom for theoretical training and exams, a practical training area including an asbestos enclosure and a fully functional decontamination unit. These facilities are utilised for our asbestos awareness and asbestos removal training courses. Included in the practical area is a substantial track layout which is used for the various Network Rail courses offered including PTS (Personal Track Safety).

 

Keltbray Training also operates a well established training centre located in Ashford, Kent. The training centre is accredited to carry out training and assessments to nationa standards via the NCCA/Sentinel scheme and caters for both internal and external requirements, offering ‘off-the-shelf’ training and bespoke packages to meet specific client requirements.  Keltbray Training also has the facility to offer On Track Plant and Plant Controller courses at our Horsham Depot.

   

Asbestos Awareness Training.

Keltbray Training offers UKATA and NDTG approved Asbestos Awareness training as well as a specially designed bespoke Management and Awareness course.

 

Asbestos Removal Training

Keltbray Training offer the following asbestos removal training through our associates Prime Safety (Europe) Ltd.

  • Asbestos Removal New Operative (UK Asbestos Training Association Approved)
  • Asbestos Removal Operative Refresher (UK Asbestos Training Association Approved)
  • Asbestos Removal New Supervisor (UK Asbestos Training Association Approved)
  • Asbestos Removal Supervisor Refresher (UK Asbestos Training Association Approved)

 

We also offer in-house or on-site Quantitative Face Fit Testing for Respiratory Protective Equipment (Full and Half).

　

Network Rail Training

Keltbray Training are accredited to carry out training and assessments to national standards via the NCCA/Sentinel scheme. Examples of some of the courses offered are: Personal Track Safety (AC/DC), Lookout, Controller of Site Safety (CRP/OLP), Individual Working Alone, Protection Controller, Auxiliary operating Duties including Hand Signaller, Level Crossing and Points Operator.

 

Keltbray Training also have the facilities to deliver Plant Controller courses such as Machine Controller Initial, Machine & Crane Controller Initial, Tandem Lift Initial and Plant Operator + Attachments.
